BALDOR SPECIALTY FOODS 

OVERVIEW

Baldor Specialty Foods located at 155 Food Drive in Hunts Point, Bronx, NY. The facility is an expansion to be connected to the existing building. the expansion allows Baldor to increase their distribution facility by adding 68 loading docks, adding another 56,000 S.F. refrigerated storage and 25,000 S.F Office spaces. 

The building designed and constructed in two phases to allow the existing facility to operate in full capacity all the time during construction. This was a challenge to our firm to split the design in two phases. 

Allied Team coordinated all Architectural features, Mechanical units, refrigeration equipment’s, loading docks, and dock levelers. The soil conditions required deep foundation system to support the columns and the floor slab.
